Hello, Charlie!
We are so delighted to welcome our little Charlie into the world!
Charles Paul arrived 5 weeks early, on August 29th. My water broke, and I spent a few days in the high-risk pre-partum unit of the hospital until I went into labor naturally. We had a lot of worries and fears due to his early arrival and small size (he was only 4 lbs 2 oz!), but God has been so good to us, and Charlie was, and continues to be, completely healthy. He’s growing well, and he’s almost at 10 lbs now. We are so incredibly thankful! And we’ve been having the time of our lives soaking up all of the newborn cuddles for the past couple months.

Jackson has done an incredible job of adjusting. He absolutely loves Charlie, and he is so kind and careful around him. He talks about him all of the time, and he frequently asks to hold him. Once again, we are so lucky and so thankful!
Also—a special thank you to all of our friends and family who prayed for us through this time! We are more grateful than we can ever express. I’ll say it again: God is so good!
