My Favorite Budget Storage Solutions
There isn’t much I love more than a beautifully organized closet or drawer. But I am also a firm believer that you don’t have to break the bank to be organized! So today I’m rounding up a few of my favorite storage solutions that work on a budget.
First things first, make sure to check what you already have at home. FREE is always best. But if you find that you do need to purchase some new containers, here are some affordable options…
IKEA
- TENJA ($2-5) – These have a cheaper build (they are basically cardboard), but the amazing price reflects that. I think they are great for long-term storage, rarely used cabinets & drawers, etc.
- KUGGIS ($4-15) – If you need sturdier storage for more commonly used items, these boxes and organizers are great.
- BRANAS ($13) – These beautiful rattan baskets would be great on display! For only $13 a pop, you get storage AND style.
- VARIERA ($3-5) – These are only available in select locations, and I’m slightly envious of those who can get them, because they are a GREAT deal. They are non-lidded, but would be perfect for the pantry, kitchen, and more… I would totally stock up on these if I could!
Target
- Threshold Rope Basket ($8-16) – Since these look nice and neutral, we have them all around the house. I especially like them for baby items or toys, because they are soft-sided.
- Threshold Fabric Bins ($10) – These are so pretty! I like fabric bins like these for off-season or rarely used clothing items, like swimsuits, scarves, sweaters, etc. You could also use them for clean laundry and keep them “on display” in your laundry room.
- Sterilite containers ($5) – These (and various other sizes) are my go-to containers for long-term storage, such as Christmas décor, baby clothes and supplies, etc.
- Room Essentials Trays ($2-3) – These are an awesome deal and perfect for drawer storage. We currently use them in a few of our kitchen drawers and bathroom drawers.
Amazon
- Weighted Cord Holder ($7-8) – As I’ve mentioned before, I love this weighted cord holder on my nightstand for keeping my cords in place. It could be great on a desk, too!
- StorageWorks Storage Bins ($23-26 for 2) – These are very sturdy because they have a metal frame, but they still look simple and pretty.
- STORi Clear Stackable Drawers ($23-26 for 2) – Clear, stackable drawers are one of the most beautiful ways to store bathroom items, but they don’t come cheap. These are a pretty good deal and come in various sizes that you can cater to your needs.
- Copco Lazy Susan ($9) – Lazy Susans are great storage solutions, especially in the kitchen or pantry! And these from Amazon are one of the best deals I have found.
Hopefully these will help you organize your home and improve your storage while still remaining within your budget. 🙂
