A Toddler Packing List Made Easy

toddler packing

You can find my basic overnight Baby Packing List here, and now I’m moving on to toddlers! Caring for a toddler is no easy task, but packing for a toddler should be. It’s easier than packing for a baby, and I actually think it’s easier than packing for an adult, too. This easy toddler packing list will work for just about any trip.

As with any packing list, the key is not so much the list as it is the process. You want to think about it and then gather items in categories, such as activity or time of day.

For toddlers specifically, I’ve outlined some basic categories below. But be sure to think through the specific activities and circumstances of YOUR TRIP to ensure you’ll have everything you need. For example… Are you headed to the beach? Create a beach category. Traveling for Christmas? Add a section for any Christmas-related events or activities. Then, as you’re gathering your items for each category, you are more likely to remember any stragglers because you’re focused on the activity.

Additionally, be sure to customize this list by removing any items that aren’t applicable to your child or your destination. Again, PROCESS over LIST.
